Wanna Dance?
Don't you want to learn the Brett Favre Boogie? It's the latest dance craze here, and it just cracks me up everytime I see it:) As long as I've been blogging, I've tried really hard (and it's been HARD sometimes) to not bore all my art friends with anything having to do with me being a diehard, true blue, crazed, Green Bay Packer fan-yep, I'm a
Cheesehead, always have been, always will be. You can find all the facts you need to know about
the Packers according to Wikipedia, or you could drive through Green Bay, or anywhere within 100 miles as far as that goes, and wonder why all these fools are wearing green & gold. Or, you could just drive down Lombardi Ave., past Lambeau Field, and literally feel the excitement in the air, it's electric & contagious. It's here, and you can seriously feel it, almost taste it, and you just gotta love it:) Tomorrow night at 5:42 pm, they kick off at
Lambeau Field. with an expected wind chill of at least 20 below zero (it's plain old freaking cold here!), to make a run at the NFC Championship, with the next stop being the Super Bowl. Earlier today, I spoke to my aunt, who attended
The Ice Bowl in 1967 (the second Super Bowl), with a wind chill of 48 below! She & my uncle bundled up, brought paper bags stuffed with newspapers to put their feet into to help insulate them, had battery operated sock warmers, and made it through the whole game. They're the ones that taught me how to be a fan, no matter how they're playing, win or lose, you don't call yourself a Packer fan in these parts, unless you're behind them no matter what. So tomorrow night, no matter the outcome, I'll be cheering for the green & gold, screaming (scares the dogs sometimes!), and sitting on the edge of my chair until the bitter end. And this is the scene I hope to see a lot of-Brett FAvre celebrating, that sweet thang:)
