i feel like you about the whole journal thing, i wish i could be flowy and profound but it never works that why for me, the words are stiff for me also and it is like pulling teeth...hmmmm i just had thought maybe i should be have a few drinks before journaling maybe the words would flow them! hehehe....your pages looked pretty cool!!

I too, feel exactly the same way about journaling - but you know that already, These pages look really GREAT! Can't wait to see what you do with them. Very cool!

Don't cha just love spray paints!! Awesome pages Sue. Where did you find the fern stencil? I've been looking for them. And the circles on the bottom image...that's cool too!

I have to say I LOVE my watercolor spray and use it ALL the time. I haven't tried "spray paint" yet...that is wounderful! I use a lot of those kind of stencils and love the effect. Layering is the best! Building up all those textures! YUMMY

I think some times we think we have to be wise sages...but in reality what really counts is to be who YOU are...it doesn't always have to be so pretty...but real. It is a journal!

Let go of OTHER peoples art and just be YOU...you are sufficient, you are good enough, you are the artist! : ) Let it reflect who you are even if you think it is not good enough!

These are stunningly beatiful pages...almost tie-dye looking...sure to inspire your writing!!

TOLD YA TOLD YA TOLD YA!
SOOOOOOOOOOO glad you caved and tried the spray. Isn't it the BEST? These are LOVELY pages Sue. Real leaves, right? Clever one! Just stunning. Who said you have to write on pages? I know what you mean though....try this: Write on a page FIRST. Then spray....you will love it. Hiding some of the words. *high five*
xoxo

Sue,
I know exactly what you mean about the "blank white page" or as I call it "the stark page that thwarts my creativity".... I LOVE what you did with the spray paints!
great pages!!!

i love the way you pulled nature into the pages. you are so good at layering, i am so jealous. keep up the experimenting...you never know where it may lead.

Sue... THESE PAGES are BEAUTIFUL... YEs.. I THINK you are ALREADY SPILLING OVER!

xoxoxox

Wow - Sue! I love these pages - they are AMAZING! What brand of spray-paint did you use?! I love to try this!

I struggle with spontaneous words - it just feels to stilted:( Maybe I'm just too planned? Sigh. Love how you've included nature into your pages too!
