The crusade for January over at GPP Street Team, a challenge site run by Michelle Ward, is to Journal your Blog. So here I am, squeaking in at the last minute with a quickie journal page for the challenge!
It's a black & white photo, taken in June, along with a post from another day in June. I added a little color, some dried wildflowers that I picked last summer, and a little handwriting. The thing is, I look at my blog as sharing moments in time. It's morphed into such a blend of life, family, art, and anything else, that "moments" is the best word that I can think of to describe it. That particular photo was taken with the sun shining just right, at the perfect angle to get the palm shadow on the wall behind it, and still have the metal chair with a face & some foliage showing through-a moment that would be difficult to duplicate. But here, on my blog, I get to share those things with whoever wanders over here to take a peek-a peek into the moments that make up my life.
Well, how fun is this Sue! And you beat me to the finish for Michelle's crusade!

Yay! You squeaked in AND you made a terrific journal page that captures that Moment you shared on your blog - love it! The sunrays translate so nicely on the page - great way to get more mileage from what you shared online. Doesn't it feel good to see that in your journal??? I'll make a journaler of you yet Sue *wink* Thanks for sharing with the Team!

Love it, glad you got it in in time! Love the green, the colors and the leafy face is just perfect, blending right in. I love your blog, you know I'm over here all the time!

What a great idea! As soon as February is over I just may have to try this. It means I wouldn't be facing a blank journal page that I had to do something cool with - the writing would already be done. All I have to do is find the images. I like it!
