Don't you just love doing something arty & kind of messy all at the same time? Well, I do! We hauled out my grandfather's (maybe gr. grandfathers, can't remember) wallpaper table, set it up on the patio, and proceeded to attempt doing nature prints. If you remember back a few months, I wrote about a book I had just gotten written by LK Ludwig. Just by looking through Mixed Media Nature Journals, I knew this was something I was going to love doing-and I was right! Check out some of what I got from my first attempts at this, can't wait to play around more with this technique. The possibilities are endless!
Is this cool, or what! LK is teaching a class in Sept. at my favorite place to be, Valley Ridge Art Studio. I'd love to go to class and see what other tricks she has up her sleeve! Will have to see what I can do to make that happen, not sure how yet, but the mind is whirling:)
those print are great!
i love the pinky-red ferny ones.
:-)
but what i love most
is
that you
have your (gr) grandfather's wallpaper table!
you still have it!
i am such an admirer
of folks
who keep old family things,
the odder the thing the better...
but a WALLPAPER table,
man!
very good!

Awesome prints! So what are you doing? painting the plants and then putting them on the paper? or are you using sun sensitive paper? (I agree with the previous poster about keeping your (gr) grandfather's wall paper table - how cool is that?!)

Your nature prints and papers are wonderful, such vivid colors. I love seeing all your work spread out on the table outside! Roxanne

I love them... reminds me of the spray paint prints from Michelle Ward. So what will you do with them? Do you add anything later or leave them as they are? I'm bursting to know. The colors are just great.
